Bold+Brilliant

5 December 2019

This was the year for women all over the world to be bold and brilliant — without apology. At TEDxJohannesburgWomen 2019, we shone a spotlight on dazzling ideas from some of Johannesburg's (and South Africa's) most extraordinary risk-takers and innovators. Celebrating pioneers making power moves, brilliant people who were just getting started, and those who would tirelessly show up as allies and advocates, TEDxJohannesburgWomen 2019 was no less than a joyful, thought-provoking celebration of smarts, savvy and diverse dynamism.

This special event, our first for women since 2013, was an occasion for inspiration, and for recognising the incredible work championed by women and girls in all fields. Everyone – not just women – was welcome to gather in celebration of moving forward, boldly and brilliantly, while sharing the work of shaping our future.
