Choose Sustainable Architecture
“Choose Sustainable Architecture” presents a future where architecture and nature co-exist and thrive as one. My use of a brutalist building comes from eco-brutalism and the intense invasivity of brutalist architecture and its contrast to the quiet existence of nature. The spaces we occupy and the architectural forms that are necessary for our comfortable living must also be accommodative of their environments. We have failed to consider nature in architectural imaginings and construction. With climate solution-based eco-brutalism and architecture that is built around nature and with sustainable materials, we can reduce architecture's contribution to carbon emissions. We would also improve our well-being by inviting nature to occupy the same spaces we do.”
